Discovery頻道的8集FBI罪案調(diào)查劇《緝：炸彈客Manhunt:Unabomber》（原名《宣言Manifesto》）確定在美國時(shí)間8月1日首播，首播集為兩時(shí)集?！蹲?：炸彈客》KevinSpacey和DanaBrunetti擔(dān)任本劇的行制片人，筆了本劇試集的AndrewSodroski也負(fù)責(zé)制作本劇該劇根據(jù)現(xiàn)改篇，大學(xué)彈客TedKaczynski是位大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)教授，有167的高智商，以炸犯罪引致3死23傷。本劇主要講述了FBI如何抓住那些聲名狼的“優(yōu)秀”犯，第一季著眼于FBI探員Jim"Fitz"Fitzgerald（SamWorthington飾），一個(gè)不習(xí)用老方法收情報(bào)的專門言學(xué)家。他自己非傳統(tǒng)方法讓藏匿近20年的“大學(xué)炸彈客/隱形炸彈/Unabomber”被繩之以法，關(guān)鍵處就在于他現(xiàn)了“大學(xué)彈客”的真身份可能隱在他的"宣言"中，而這個(gè)"宣言"也是Kaczynski眾多陰謀之一PaulBettany飾演被稱為“學(xué)炸彈客”TedKaczynski，而JohnBerchtold將飾演年輕時(shí)代的TedKaczynski。

The episode ends with the president finally deciding to order Shareef's assassination (a legally questionable act) and C.J.'s agent's murder, just after the man threatening C.J. was caught.From a critical perspective, series creator Aaron Sorkin acknowledged in October 2002 that the terrorism-related plots designed to keep the series relevant after the real-life 9/11 attacks were awkward at times, saying "from week to week, you felt like you were writing the show handcuffed, a little bit. I didn't know how to write it anymore. It was a constant search for what I wasn't doing that used to make the show work. [...] Maybe there was a way to make it work; there probably was. I wasn't able to find it in twenty-two episodes." [1] Nonetheless, the show went on to win its third "Outstanding Drama" Emmy in a row.
